What is it going to be like?

The series is designed as a reflective, clinically grounded space where participants will engage with core psychoanalytic concepts and reflect on their clinical work through a culturally attuned lens.

 

What kind of commitment is expected?

The course is going to be online from September 2025 to January 2026. Each month includes an interactive 90-minute lecture and two 90-minute small-group supervision sessions. The total monthly commitment is 4.5 hours. It is encouraged that you attend from beginning to end which is why the dates are shared beforehand so you can make the necessary adjustments to your schedule.

Who is it for?

This series is designed for mental health professionals and advanced students with some clinical experience who are curious about psychoanalytic thinking and its applications.

What is the fee?

INR 4,000/month or INR 14,000 upfront.

Can I get a refund?

We encourage you to commit fully once you register, as fees are generally non-refundable. However, if you need to cancel at least 15 days before the start of the series, you’ll be eligible for a 50% refund. Alternatively, you may transfer your seat to a colleague up until the series begins.

Lecture:

 

Maximilian Römer, M.Sc., is a psychoanalyst (DGPT) and psychodynamic psychotherapist in private practice. Research assistant at the Brandenburg Medical School Theodor Fontane (MHB) at the Department of Clinical Psychology with a focus on psychodynamics. Member and lecturer at the Berlin Institute for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis (BIPP). Main areas of research: psychoanalytic social and cultural studies, addiction disorders and psychoanalytic perspectives on fatherhood.

 

Peter Treu, M.Sc., is a psychoanalyst (DGPT) and psychodynamic psychotherapist in private practice. Research assistant at the Brandenburg Medical School Theodor Fontane (MHB) at the Department of Clinical Psychology with a focus on psychodynamics. Member and lecturer at the Berlin Institute for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis (BIPP). Main areas of research: empirical dream studies and psychoanalytic perspectives on fatherhood.

 

Supervision Group:

 

Arushi Bradu is a Delhi-based individual and group therapist with an MSc in Counselling Psychology from Christ University, Bangalore, and advanced training in group analysis (Institute of Group Analysis, UK in association with Hank Nunn Institute). She founded the Delhi chapter of the Hank Nunn Institute and later co-founded Reverie Psychotherapy Studio. Her work focuses on creating reflective spaces for personal and relational growth, drawing on psychoanalytic, relational and group-based approaches.
